Sour cream is useful food product, but its advantage is not limited to nutrition value: this fermented milk product is widely used in cosmetology. For example, sour cream is used for clarification of hair.
Sour cream can be used for head of hear of any type. So, fermented milk product is rich with vitamin A which participates in oxidation-reduction reaction of skin, activates synthesis of proteins (hair also consist of them) and does cellular membranes strong. That is why sour cream masks – rescue for the injured and intensively dropping out hair. The tocopherol which is present at structure of this fermented milk product will present life to the thinned and weakened hair and also will allocate with salutary moisture dry head of hear. Besides, sour cream is rich with vitamin C: this element is responsible for blood circulation in head skin and for regeneration of fabrics therefore masks on the basis of this fermented milk product recommend to do at brittle hair and split ends. In fact, sour cream not only clarifies head of hear, but also strengthens and also feeds it.
One more feature of sour cream masks is that it is possible to apply the clarifying mix both on dirty locks, and on recently washed up hair. The main thing that locks were slightly humidified: it will allow to distribute evenly "paint" on all length of hair.
For this procedure it is necessary to take fermented milk product which fat content does not exceed 15%. The recipe of the clarifying mix is as follows: - 3 tablespoons of sour cream; - 1 tsps of oil from wheat germs; - 1 tsps of lemon juice. Components mix and apply weight on head of hear. For strengthening of activity of components put on rubber hat the head and wrap it in towel. The clarifying mix is held by 17-20 minutes, further it is washed away warm water with shampoo. The "paint" prepared according to such recipe (it is recommended to do once a week) not only will clarify hair on 1-2 tones, but also will strengthen them and also will improve appearance of head of hear and normalizes work of sebaceous glands.
At clarification of hair of dry type use sour cream which fat content exceeds 25%. Prepare "paint" from the following components: - 1 tablespoons of sour cream; - 1 tablespoons of castor oil; - 1 tablespoons of olive oil; - chicken yolk. The yolk which is shaken up in gentle foam is mixed with oils and sour cream (gruel has to be uniform). Cover with the clarifying mix locks, then put on plastic bag and woolen hat the head. No more than 30 minutes hold mask and wash away warm water with shampoo.
Recipe of this "paint" is as follows: - 200 g of sour cream (fat content depends on type of hair); - orange dried peel; - half of average root of ginger; - 8-10 drops of essential oil of lemon; - 300 ml of water. The crushed ginger and dried peel are filled in with boiled water, draw couple of hours and filtered. Further take half of infusion and mix with sour cream and aromatic oil. Cosmetic is applied on hair, cover them with plastic bag and warmed towel. 2 hours later hair rinse with the remained infusion divorced in 1 l of warm water.
