Some people become egoists in the childhood because of excessive attention of parents, grandmothers, grandfathers and other relatives. If it is too strong to indulge the child at early age, it is possible that, having matured, it will not reckon with the interests of other people.

If not to bring up the child properly, not to show severity and not to impart to him the concept about moral values, maybe, in further life of people will not even understand that it behaves not really beautifully.

The reasons of egoism are that the person constantly follows the tastes of own desires and whims. He often lives some emotions and does not think of people around. On the first place the egoist puts personal comfort, and such concepts as "conscience", "justice" and "ethics" pushes far away.

Sometimes the individual himself suffers from own egoism. It can be deprived of joy to love someone or consciousnesses that thanks to it to other person it is good. Some egoists vaguely realize that something in life passes by them, and think of changing. The person can become less selfish if begins to be interested in the fate of other people. Sometimes the birth of the child or other need to care for someone helps to become more responsible and sensitive to the individual.
