Activation of Windows promotes decrease in cases of the computer piracy better known as "illegal copying". For activation the Windows activation wizard which provides to Microsoft corporation the unique code of installation is used. There are two paths of activation: by phone and online.
Instruction
1. Let's consider a way of activation online, for this purpose execute the following:
Click "Start-up" and select consistently "Programs" → "Standard" → "Office" → "Activation of Windows" or it is possible to use in a different way – in notification area click the sign "Activation of Windows".
2. In the appeared window click "Activate Windows online" and "The statement for confidentiality of activation", further click "Back Further".
3. Further you need to execute one of the following offered actions:
- for simultaneous activation and registration of Windows it is necessary to click on a tab to register and activate Windows, further click "Back", then Next. Then the window in which you need to enter the unique contact information in the respective fields of registration model will appear then to press Next. For filling only the fields noted by a special character in the form of an asterisk (*) are obligatory.
- if you want to activate only the program without registration of Windows, select a tab in a window is not present, not to register, then click on Next.
4. After execution of all listed steps by you the Windows installation wizard will be able to process request for activation of the program and to establish connection to a remote server of activation. Upon termination of completion of activation and after obtaining the message: "This version of Windows is successfully activated" click the OK button.
At software activation an error message can sometimes be given, in this case it is necessary to come into the section "Start-up Control Panel System and Safety System", to select "Change a product key", though initially activation key was entered correctly. Enter repeatedly a key of a product and again, following this instruction, activate the copy of Windows.
