Instruction
1. Start the computer on which it is necessary to block access to the website. When it is loaded, open "My computer" and enter the section on which it is installed by Windows. Pass into the Windows folder, and further – on such path: system32driversetc.
2. In the etc folder you will see files with different names, but you will need only the hosts file. Click on this file and in the dropped-out menu click "Open with the help", select one of text editors. Such editor can become both a normal notepad, and MS Office Word or any other program for editing text files by means of which you edit applications.
3. In the open file you will see the text and lines with the registered IP addresses. For example, IP address: 127.0.0.1, it will be precisely registered there. Now all you need to do is, so to register it in a new line: 127.0.0.1 and address of the website, undesirable to visit. For example, you need to prohibit access to the website of VKontakte. For this purpose create the next line: 127.0.0.1 vkontakte.ru also close the open document, without having forgotten to save the made changes. Register all other websites which need to be prohibited just in the same view. After that reboot.
4. As the users presently advanced, for bigger reliability of the begun business, it is worth putting a password access to change of the file. It will not be difficult to make it at all. For this purpose it will be required to download only one of a set of programs for password protection. Or it is even simpler - to create on the computer the second account with the rights of the user. In order that to make it, pass on the following path: ""menu start-up/control panels/accounts of users"". In this tab create the new user, and on the account put the password. Now, during the work on the computer, your employees or children will have access to a system through the user account. They will be able to use its resources only within the rights of the account.
