How to configure the account

Setup of the Microsoft Outlook account for receiving and departure of e-mail messages of the Internet is the standard procedure performed by means of Outlook. A necessary condition is availability of the information on parameters of information service of e-mail provided by Internet service provider.

It is required to you

  • - Microsoft Outlook.

Instruction

1. Open the Outlook application and specify the Setup of Accounts point in the menu "Service" of a top panel of tools of a window of the program.

2. Go to the E-mail tab of the opened dialog box and click "Create".

3. Specify the necessary protocol in the new dialog box "Adding of the New Account" and pass to the "automatic adjustment of the account" page.

4. Enter a full name, the e-mail address and the password into the respective fields and repeat introduction of the password in the field "Confirmation".

5. Press Next for command execution and confirm application of the selected changes with clicking of the button "Is ready".

6. Open the link "Parameters of E-mail of the Internet" and go to the General tab in need of modification of email accounts.

7. Go to the Server of Outgoing Mail tab and apply checkboxes on The Server of Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Needs Authentication, Input with the Protected Confirmation of the Password (SPA) and Input on the Server of Incoming Mail before Sending fields.

8. Go to the Connection tab and specify the necessary way of connection to a serever of e-mail: a local area network, a telephone line or the dialing unit from Internet Explorer.

9. Specify the existing connection in a drop-down menu "Add" or create new connection when choosing the Be Connected through a Telephone Network point in the Modem group.

10. Specify desirable type of connection and click "Properties" for performing operation of change of parameters of the selected connection.

11. Go to In the addition tab for establishment of parameters of delivery and wait time of e-mail messages.
