Instruction
1. Select and buy the router. Key parameter which needs to be considered when choosing this equipment is existence of a certain port for connection to an Internet channel. If you use a dedicated line, then buy the router with WAN (Internet) port.
2. For connection to a local area network of mobile computers and communicators it is necessary to use Wi-Fi the router. Pay attention to radio signal types which are supported by this device. Connect the router selected by Wi-fi to the alternating current main. Also turn on the network equipment.
3. Connect a cable of provider to a WAN link (Internet). Connect the twisted pair cable to any LAN connector. Insert its second end into the network adapter of any computer. Turn on this PC. After loading of the operating system open the web browser and enter the router IP address. Normally it is addresses 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. Click the ENTER key and wait for opening of the web interface of the router.
4. Open the WAN or Internet Setup menu. Configure settings of connection to the Internet. Enter the data identical to that which you set at setup of connection of the computer to network. Save parameters of this menu. Reboot the router and make sure that the device connected to the server of provider.
5. Open the Wireless Setup or Wi-fi menu. Perform tuning of operation parameters of wireless access point. Select safety type, specify the data link and set the password. Again reboot the device, previously having saved settings. Connect the mobile computer to a wireless network and check existence of Internet access.
6. Connect all computers to LAN ports of the router. If they are not enough, then use the network hub for connection of several PCs with one LAN connector.
