Modern communication on the Internet cannot be provided without avatar – the small graphics image serving as a virtual portrait of the user. The avatar can be made independently of any image which was pleasant to you.
It is required to you
- - Internet;
- - program for work with graphic files, for example, Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
Instruction
1. Select the image of which you would like to make an avatar on the computer. It can be a digital reproduction of any picture, a landscape photo, a frame from the movie or your own photo.
2. Open the selected image in the program for work with graphic files, for example, in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Select the Change Drawings tab on which click the line "Scrap". On corners and in the middle of each party of the image there will be markers, drawing which, it is possible to cut off the image on the parties from the selected fragment. On the panel it is possible to monitor on the right how the drawing sizes change as a result of your manipulations.
3. Make sure that the sizes, the fragment cut by you, meet the requirements to avatars of any given Internet resource. For avatars size 100 on 100 pixels is considered standard, but also other sizes quite often meet. If after cutting the image is too big, it can be corrected, having used the line "Size variation". In the opened tab in special windows it is possible to set any width and picture height.
4. Save the result of the work. It is desirable to save an avatar in the JPG format as this format is most widespread in an Internet environment. Print the name of the file with Latin. Images which name contains the Cyrillic letters can not be displayed on some websites.
5. Use special services on the Internet (for example, avadel.ru, pikyn.ru or avatarka.org) which offer free production of avatars from your images. Step-by-step process of creation of avatars on such resources is very simple and does not require additional explanations. On some services for production of avatars you will be able to apply special effects to the image: change brightness or contrast, to insert the picture into a frame or to make it black-and-white.
