1. Typical path of implementation of a forum at themselves in the project, is connection of scripts of a forum of third-party developers or initial placement of the content on the basis of CMS. The fact that the user himself forms structure and design of all website is characteristic of the first way and with own hand fills it with content. The forum is connected separately, placing it in the folder with the website.
2. Today there are following scripts of third-party forums: phpBB, vBulletin, myBB and others. The way enjoys wide popularity as it is very simple to create the website with a forum by means of these scripts. Administration of information is also convenient. However defect it is possible to call autonomous registration for them because the user should be registered twice: the first time on the website, the second – at a forum that often leads to change of user names.
3. Other and not less available option of how to create the website with a forum simply lies on a surface at a number of users of content management systems. Many of them have the built-in forum - it is Open Slaed. Some are capable to connect a forum script as own free plug-ins. These are systems whose functionality extends constantly and improved, and the package of the CMS engine goes with the minimum stuffing. Such are: Joomla, Drupal, phpNuke, 4Site and others. At the same time there is a mass of advantages of use of CMS: the identical design of the website and a forum which can be changed by means of installation of graphic templates of a system, one registration which is required only on the main website, and categories and the rights of users extend as well to a forum.
4. Of course, it is possible also most to be accepted to development of the engine of the website, in passing implementing and installing on it forum scripts, however for forming of really large informative websites, it is better to focus attention on thematic filling. All the same without interesting content hardly the question of authorship of a script and the engine will begin to interest any of users.
