If the mailbox on the Mail.Ru server is not necessary to you any more, it can be deleted if desired. After that all messages sent you will be returned to the sender with a mark that they cannot be delivered. Thus the sender will be notified that you do not use an old box any more.
Instruction
1. Come into the electronic mailbox on the Mail.Ru server usually. Use for this purpose the standard web interface. Do not apply WAP- or the PDA interface and also an email client.
2. Make backup copies of all letters which are necessary to you. Save them in a desirable format (HTML, HTML with pictures or MHT), using means of the browser. Also save all attachments necessary for you to messages. Do not forget to save anything from what will be required to you further as after removal of a box all this information will disappear from the server forever. Make the same also with all information necessary to you which you stored on other Mail.Ru services ("My world" and similar) as from there all your data also completely will be removed.
3. Click on the following link:

4. Attentively read the warning which you will see on this page. Look through information on what will be deleted from the server except a mailbox. Also pay attention to what box is removed. Do not delete accidentally instead of the unnecessary account necessary if on this server at you them a little.
5. Enter the removal reason (not necessarily) and the password.
6. If all of you still agree to get rid completely of a mailbox without a possibility of its recovery, click "Delete" if you changed the mind, click "Refuse".
7. The window with the warning will appear. In it click OK for confirmation of removal or "Canceling" for failure from operation.
8. Come into the electronic mailbox on the Mail.Ru server usually. Use for this purpose the standard web interface. Do not apply WAP- or the PDA interface and also an email client.
9. If within five working days you want to restore a box (but information which is not stored in it!), just enter it via the web interface under the login and the password. Then click on the link which appeared at the left with the inscription "Unlock". After that enter the password again. Then log in usually under the same the login and the password. Before you there will be the same box - but absolutely empty.
