Wi-fi becomes more and more preferable type of connection, as in the public place, and at home or at office. It has two essential advantages which many users select among others, namely lack of wires and almost universal access.
Instruction
1. In case of hit of the computer or the laptop in a cover zone of a wireless network and existence of a possibility of connection through wi-fi (houses, apartments, hotel, the airport, cafe, the park and so forth) it, as a rule, finds network. It is possible to understand it on activation of an icon in the right lower part of the screen. It becomes brighter and slightly flickers.
2. If the network free, then the Internet is connected automatically. If it did not occur, try to click on an icon and select "Wireless networks" in the opened menu. Usually at the same time the small list of wireless networks which source is nearby is highlighted. But most of them are protected by the access code what tells a key icon opposite to the name about. If the access code is known to you, enter it, and the computer will make the rest.
3. If you assume that network free, and connection does not happen, then contact the employee of the public place in whom you are. As a rule, such problems arise at the airports, at stations, in cafe, restaurants and other crowded places.
4. Happens that the computer managed to enter successfully into the Internet through wi-fi, but all of you cannot equally get on the required e-mail address. Just try to start the browser. Perhaps, the page with prices and payment methods will open. Check them and contact the relevant service for access payment. Such practice is often used in hotels.
5. The key of access is usually entered once. Next time, when your computer will appear in an area of coverage of this network, connection will be automatic, on condition of the paid bill, certainly.
6. It is not required to be disconnected from a wireless network, the computer will make it as soon as it leaves a zone of its action too. Independently it can be done, having clicked on an icon of wireless connection and having clicked "Be disconnected". Besides, it is possible to be disconnected through the Start menu-> "Connections"-> "Be disconnected".
7. Connection shortcomings through wi-fi can be considered lack of access points (hotspot) in towns and other settlements. As a rule, only the large cities and the central airports can brag of it.
