Very often the people using OpenVPN networks have complaints that special Internet services show the real DNS addresses of their provider. Therefore the question of concealment of these addresses becomes quite current problem for such users. This procedure is quite simple and does not require special knowledge of network.
It is required to you
- - list of the DNS addresses;
- - Proxifier.
Instruction
1. If for you the fact that your native DNS server can be opened by strangers, then use one of methods on its masking is critical. The first way consists in substitution of your native address, on others. For this purpose follow this link (or independently find the list of dns-servers) http://theos.in/windows-xp/free-fast-public-dns-server-list/ and select one of servers. Also you can use the fictional address, however in this case the Internet will not function completely until you do not join one of VPN networks.
2. After that change your DNS-server. Open "Control panel" in Windows, click a label "Network connections". The list of your Internet connections will open, select active connection, right-click on a label and click across the field of "Property". After that will open settings of your network connection. In this window select "The Internet Protocol of the version of IPv4" and again press the Properties button. One more window with settings of the different addresses will open (IP and necessary to us DNS).
3. Check opposite to the inscription "Use the Following DNS Servers". After that the field for input will become active (will change color with gray for white). Enter in this field found earlier or the fictional DNS server, without forgetting to put ends in the right places. Also surely write your native DNS before to change them. They can be necessary for you still.
4. Other method of masking of DNS is use of the special program that it is much easier than the first way. For this purpose we download the program under the name Proxifier 2.91, having followed this link http://proxybox.name/Proxifier.rar. After installation start Proxifier and come into category "Option" in the top part of a window of the utility, click "Name resolution". Remove a tick from the Choose the mod automatically field and select the Remotely item. Insert the necessary socks/proxy. Do not forget to check masking of your DNS by means of http://whoer.net/ service.
