Function of autoshutdown in the Internet Explorer application carries out a task of the termination of connection with provider after the selected period of time. Any changes of parameters of this function become effective only after the termination of connection and restart of the browser.
Instruction
1. Open the main Windows OS system menu of the version of Millenium with Internet Explorer of version 5.0 above, having clicked "Start-up" and pass into the Control panel point. Open the link "Internet Options" and use the Connections tab of the opened dialog box. Specify the Remote network access point and choose the Setup command.
2. Use the setup button in the following dialog box and select the Dialing tab. Deselect a checkbox in the line "Disconnect when Connection to the Internet Is Not Required" and confirm application of the made changes, having three times pressed the OK button (for Windows Millenium Edition with Internet Explorer of version 5.0 above).
3. Open the main system menu, having clicked "Start-up", and pass into the Setup point (for Internet Explorer of versions 4.01.4.0, 3.02, 3.01 and 3.0). Open the link "Control panel" and expand a node Internet doubleclick of a mouse. Use the Connections tab of the opened dialog box and choose the Setup command. Remove a mark in a checkbox of the line "Be Disconnected at Idle Time More Hkh Minutes" and confirm execution of the selected task, having twice pressed the OK button (for Internet Explorer of versions 4.01, 4.0, 3.02, 3.01 and 3.0).
4. Open the main system menu, having clicked "Start-up", and pass into the Setup point (for Internet Explorer of version 2.0). Open the link "Control panel" and expand a node Internet doubleclick of a mouse. Use the Automatic Connection tab of the opened dialog box and deselect a checkbox in the field of Avtootklyucheniye. Confirm application of the selected changes with clicking of the OK button.
5. That the made changes became effective, in each of these cases it is necessary to interrupt Internet connection and to restart the browser.
