Browser cache – the volume of its random access memory to which information on all visits of the websites viewed on them images and the loaded media files gets.
Instruction
1. The situation when the website is badly loaded or when expensive Internet traffic "eats" money for viewing time of unnecessary images or the loaded pages is familiar to much. To reduce the volume of the incoming traffic and to accelerate loading of information, there is a browser cache. All pages opened on the Internet are saved in a cache thanks to what at repeated opening of the website from the same browser the page will be loaded not directly from the Internet, and will open thanks to memory of the browser. Perhaps, when using of the different websites this function is little significant, however often visited pages and information are loaded from a cache, so, save loadings and consumption of the incoming traffic.
2. By default memory of a cache is activated on each browser, however the user can independently change settings. If you once disconnected automatic memory a cache, it makes sense again to begin to use this function, at the same time having adjusted its parameters.
3. Activation of storing of a cache in the Opera browser is in the folder of "General settings", open it through "Menu" of the Web browser. You can also give this command the Ctrl+F12 keyboard shortcut. In the folder of "Settings" open the Expanded tab. Find in the left column and click on the section "History".
4. Preferences of a cache are individual for each user and are selected taking into account his requirements. However there are simple recommendations for most of users. It is better not to reboot memory of the browser of more than 1000 addresses if you activate the Remember Contents of the Visited Pages function (that is desirable for reduction of load time of the page). Include "A cache in memory", select the necessary amount of the remembered information or stop on the graph "Automatically". You should not reboot a disk cache, it involves free space on the system hard drive of your computer. Check at the column "Clean at an Output" if you want to delete the volume of the visited pages from a cache. However if you visit the same websites day by day, you should not clean a cache daily, also daily it will be filled. Clean a cache manually, approximately having made the diagram of its filling: at each user it is individual and depends on how much it uses the Internet.
5. To work with settings of a cache in the Mozilla Firefox browser, press the Menu button and open the section "Setup". Open the section "Dopolniteltnye". Settings of a cache are in a tab "Network".
6. To configure a cache in the Google Chrome browser, press the button of "Settings" and in the opened context menu select the section "Tools", and in it – "Removal of data on the viewed pages". Also this menu item opens at the command of "Ctrl+Shift+Del".
