1. Practice of use of the Internet addresses by hosting providers such is that it is more correct to speak about the IP address of some certain website, but not a hosting in general. It is possible to recognize him, for example, own means of the operating system installed in the computer. In Windows OS the emulator of the command line interface for this purpose will be required - start it with use of the search mechanism if in the computer the version of Windows 7 or Vista OS is installed. Click Win and enter three letters in a search box - cmd. In the menu the list with search results will be displayed - most likely in it there will be only one line with the text of cmd.exe. Click this link, and the window of the command line interface will be started.
2. Enter the tracert command and through a space gather a domain name of the website about which you know for sure that it is placed with the hoster interesting you. So you start the utility of trace of a route from the network interface card of your computer to this website, but to wait for result of the end of its work there is no need - the IP address interesting you will appear in square brackets after a domain name in the first line, right after pressing Enter.
3. In relation to a hosting in general it is more correct to speak about the range of the IP addresses selected to it. It is possible to obtain such information too if to use any of network whois-services. The websites giving an opportunity to make whois-request on the Internet there is a huge number - use, for example, services of one of the largest domestic registrars Reg.ru. Pass to the http://reg.ru/whois page and enter a domain name of any website placed on servers of the hosting provider interesting you in a text box. If you do not know any other website, then use the domain of the website of the provider - with very high probability the company holds it on own server.
4. Click the Check button and in results of request the script under line with a domain name will display the link with the IP address corresponding to it. Click on this link and on the following loaded page find a line from the inetnum variable in information - the required range of the IP addresses will be specified opposite to it. However keep in mind that the hoster can possess several such ranges.
