The ambiguity of the reasons of extinction of dinosaurs continues to excite minds of scientists. During the research of this problem dozens were put forward by a time of absolutely improbable hypotheses. Nevertheless this question remains open to this day.
Dinosaurs died out about 65 million years ago. And to establish the original reason of their extinction through such huge period it is represented improbable. Nevertheless scientists made a number of hypotheses concerning this natural phenomenon. Most of them are extremely doubtful. But nevertheless have the right to life.
Doubtful hypotheses
A number of scientists connects disappearance of dinosaurs with falling on the earth of a huge meteorite. Say, as a result of this falling, from the Earth's surface in the atmosphere the huge amount of dust rose. To a coma of that, perhaps the meteorite provoked simultaneous eruption of many volcanoes therefore there was an enormous emission of ashes. As a result, clouds of dust and ashes closed revenues to the earth's surface of sunshine. And on the earth all plants which dinosaurs ate died, and the last just died of hunger.
Other scientists assume that during an era of dinosaurs on the planet there was an unknown disease affecting only huge lizards. There is also a theory connected with a climatic cold snap. Considering that by estimates of scientists the climate on Earth during "an era of dinosaurs" was very warm, with approach of Ice Age the dinosaurs could freeze simply.
Dinosaurs were ruined by plants?
But most of scientists at the moment adhere to other theory. The facts say that along with dinosaurs a large number of other animals and plants died out during this period. At the same time then mammals very actively began to evolve. There were new plants and insects. Connect this mass extinction with emergence on Earth of flowering plants. They left without food of both overland, and sea huge reptiles and many other representatives of fauna. The emergence flowering plants provoked some kind of chain reaction in the nature. Presence at them of a root system allowed them to develop very quickly. Therefore for rather short period they completely forced out all other vegetation. The root system floral considerably strengthened the soil that sharply reduced processes of washing out of sushi and intake of nutrients for many species of seaweed. Because of it the last died and doomed to starvation of sea herbivorous reptiles. There were also new insects specializing in pollination floral, and their predecessors deprived of a forage began to die out. Dinosaurs began to eat flowering plants which contained tons, toxic for them, alkaloids. Besides, the small mammals who extended in large numbers began to destroy eggs of dinosaurs, having sharply reduced that their posterity. This theory does not apply for absolute fidelity, but in a modern scientific world it is considered the most logical.
