Opera is the popular and fast browser which people use worldwide. It is possible to make this browser by default in several ways – by means of a dialog box of the application, other browser or settings of a system.

Instruction
1. At the first start the browser asks the user: "By Opera it is not installed as the browser by default. Install?". If not to agree, then at the subsequent starts this dialog box will appear again. Click "Yes", and the browser will be installed as the main application for surfing on the Internet.
2. Opera can make the basic also by means of settings. For this purpose it is necessary to come into the Tools point, further – "Settings" - "In addition" - "Programs", to select with the Make by Default check mark.
3. It is possible to replace the main application for surfing also standard means of Windows via the control panel. For this purpose come into the Start menu, select "Control panel". Further you select the Installation and Removal of Programs item. At the left click a left mouse button on the link "Choice of Programs by Default".
4. Local copies a web of pages on the hard drive can also be opened by means of the opera. For this purpose select the necessary file the right mouse button, pass into the Open with the Help point - "Select the program" where find and select Opera. Do not forget to check "Use the Selected Program for All Files of This Type".
5. In Linux the choice of Opera is by default made the same way. At start the browser will ask about allowing to make it by default. It is possible to select the necessary application in settings of a graphic cover ("System parameters" - "Applications by default" - "Web browser"). In KDE and Gnome these settings are similar. Settings of the browser in Windows and Linux are also identical.
