Long before emergence of social networks on the Internet the communication between people was provided by e-mail boxes. Today importance of their role increased many times over – we use them for registration confirmation on the websites, in payment service providers and also on the same notorious social networks. It is impossible to underestimate importance of safety of a personal box of e-mail and need of confidentiality of information which on it is kept.
Instruction
1. Select the website on which you want to create a box. Several recommendations: if you are going to use the mail for correspondence with citizens and the organizations of other countries, it is better to create it on the domain with the name .com, in a case if you are going to use it at the local level, use the domain .ru.
2. Visit the homepage of the website which you selected for the mailbox and press the registration button. Before you the new window - a window of registration of a mailbox will open.
3. Enter the name and a surname in the opened fields. If you are going to use e-mail box for business correspondence, it is desirable to enter the real name and a surname. In other cases if you appreciate confidentiality than publicity more, use your nickname written two times.
4. Treat with responsibility the choice of a name for an input (login). Besides, everything very strongly depends on for what you decided to use this box of e-mail if you are going to use long it, select the name and a surname separated by either a point or a dash as the login.
5. Select the password which consists of letters and digits. Pick up it so that even the person who well knows you could not guess it. It will allow you to prevent possible attempt of cracking of your mail.
6. The confidential question should be rather simple for you, and only for you. The non-standard answer to a question which will be correct is possible - so you will nonplus possible hackers.
7. Specify a contact box of e-mail if that is available for you. It will be used for the notification on attempt of cracking or in case of need authentication of the account.
