How to remake a website template

Even if completely you are not going to remake a template, replace the majority of images, and in particular those that are located as a logo. Replace each picture in such a way: - open the graphic file in the Photoshop program; - in the Image menu - "Image size" look at its parameters; - open a new leaf with just the same sizes; - create the necessary image with use of tools of the application; - execute data of all layers and save (not for web) the new picture under the same name and in the same folder, having set an initial format. Thus, instead of one image another should appear. 3. As soon as change all pictures, archive the folder with files (in a case with Joomla) and load it via the website admin panel into the Expansions menu. Look whether the subject with new illustrations is correctly displayed. 4. It is necessary to change other parameters in style.css. And it is much more convenient to do it not via the administrator's panel, and on the computer. For the fastest viewing result of conversions it is reasonable to use a local host (Denver). It will allow to avoid need to load result on the server every time for the purpose of viewing results after the next editing. 5. Download a free plug-in of FireBug for Mozilla Firefox. After installation in the upper right corner of the browser the icon of a yellow bug will appear. Click on it or key F12 and in the lower part of the screen the code to the page in folded option will appear. He can be revealed, for this purpose it is necessary to guide a mouse at pluses. And if to click a line of an element, in the top part of the screen it will be selected. With the code you will find styles with the indication of lines which are responsible for appearance in the right side of a window. And at once it will become clear where it is necessary to edit the file with styles to change design. 6. Open style.css in Notepad ++. It is possible to use and other programs intended for editing of the code however for this purpose it is impossible to apply standard "Notepad", otherwise there will be errors because of coding. By means of FireBug find the necessary parameters which are subject to change and at the same time them govern in Notepad ++. 7. Save total css option and load the file on the server.
