When moving to other city or the choice of new mobile network operator the mobile phone number usually changes. The happened changes can be reflected also in social networks that your friends knew how it is possible to contact you.
Instruction
1. On social network "VKontakte" it is possible to specify the phone number on the page in the section "Contact Information". Also the phone number is specified as personal data for registration and, further, for authorization and confirmation of accessory of the account to you. If your phone number changed, you can correct the necessary information on your page on social network.
2. First of all, it is necessary to become authorized on the website of VKontakte. For this purpose on the homepage enter your login and the password and click "Enter". After that you will appear on your personal page.
3. If you want to change the phone number which is seen by your friends on social network, in the website upper left corner near a menu item "My page" click the edition command. Before you the Basic tab containing your personal data will open. Pass to the Contacts page, having left-clicked according to it. Delete outdated data from fields "Mobile phone" and "Alternative telephone" and enter new information. If desired you can fill only one of this field. After that click "Save".
4. Also it is possible to change phone in a different way. Click with a mouse a menu item "My page" which is in the website upper left corner. On the right you will see information on you. Click on the link "Show Detailed Information". In the section "Contact Information" your phone will be specified. That to change it, click the Edit command, make necessary editing and click "Save".
5. To change the phone number which is the identifier of accessory to you pages of VKontakte in the menu which is in the left part of the page, click the My Settings point. In the Section "My Phone Number" your current data will be specified. That to correct them, click "Change the phone number", correct information on relevant and click the Receive the Code button. After that free SMS will come to your mobile phone. Enter data retrieveds in the Confirmation code field and click "Send". The phone number which will "be tied" to your account in social network "VKontakte" is changed in 14 days if you do not cancel the application.
6. The phone number which is seen by your friends and the data specified for identification on the website are not connected among themselves. If desired you can change only one of them. If you need to correct both numbers, you should correct everyone separately.
