1. Learn the attachment size for the mailbox and for this purpose which your addressee uses. As a rule, it makes 20-30 megabytes. 2. If the size of your attachment of 30 MB or is slightly more, the file can be separated into 2-3 parts. The way of division depends on the fact that you want to send. If it is the folder with a set of small files (for example, a musical disk or a photo album), create several folders. Copy album contents there so that volumes of all folders were approximately equal.
3. Archive each folder. It is possible to make it by means of Total Commander or other similar program. There is, for example, a free analog of FreeCommander with almost same functions. The built-in archiver in it is too. Select the folder or group of files. In the main menu find the File tab, and in it - the Pack function. The program will suggest you to select the directory. Make it and click Apprx. In the same way archive other folders. It is possible to use also other archiver - for example, 7zip.
4. If you want to send one big file, it needs to be broken by means of the same file manager. In the File tab there is a Break function. Select the file, then leave in this menu and specify the directory. Send each part in the separate letter. For not really big files (up to 100 megabytes) it is quite convenient way as letters will be not really much.
5. Use the file hosting service. They are on many e-mail servers and are intended for such cases. For example, the file hosting services are on Yandex and on Google, but it is possible to use and any other. Will be suitable for not really large files including once very popular and still operating Ifolder. The most mass - RapidShare, Megaupload, DepositFiles, Hotfile are very convenient. On some registration is necessary, others accept files from all users. Download the file in the exchanger and send your addressee the link by mail or through social networks.
