The proxy server is the service working on the machine connected to network. It performs functions of the intermediary between clients and remote network services. There are proxy servers executed in the form of the separate utilities having the friendly graphic interface. One of such programs is UserGate.

Instruction
1. Download the UserGate program and install it. It is rather simple in management and does not require existence of the powerful computer. For operation of the proxy server there will be quite enough one-nuclear processor with a frequency of 1 GHz and 512 MB of random access memory. Reboot, having completed UserGate program installation.
2. Start this utility. Open the Users and Groups menu, click "Users" and select the Add item. Enter a name of the new account, using Latin letters. Specify the IP address of the computer from which this user will be connected. In the field "Authorization Type" select the IP address item.
3. Fill out the column "Speed limit". It is better not to neglect this parameter because there can be situations when several users use practically all Internet channel.
4. Start creation of the proxy server. Open a tab "Services" and select the Proxy Setup item. Now double-click under the necessary protocol, for example HTTP, and in a new window install a tick opposite to the IP addresses for which Internet access will be open.
5. If you need to provide a large number of computers with Internet access via the proxy server, create user group. It will allow you to configure at the same time rules for all selected computers.
6. Configure settings of access to network and loadings of certain files. Open the Traffic management tab and select item of "Rule". Click "Add". Enter a rule name, select type of logic "And" and in the field "Action" select the Close item.
7. Open a tab with number 5 and click "Line Entirely". Enter types of files in which attempt of a gallop it will be disconnected.
