Tasty alcoholic cocktail can become "counter" of any party. That to make it, it is possible to follow the ready recipe, or to use the general recommendations about drawing up cocktails and to achieve bright taste of original drink.

1. The volume of cocktail depends on the fortress of alcoholic components. For hard liquors traditional volume – from 50 to 100 ml. If addition of a small amount of alcohol with low degree is supposed, then such cocktails are cooked in volume from 100 ml and more.

2. The quantity of components of cocktail shouldn't exceed five (not including jewelry). Otherwise gustatory qualities of drink will be spoiled. If all ingredients are quality, then and cocktail in general will leave first-class. Components have to be combined and not muffle aromas of each other well. As the main alcoholic ingredient making 50% of cocktail use rum, whisky, tequila, vodka, to an elder, wine or champagne. For giving of special aroma to drink add Vermouth (Martini, Cinzano), bitter (пикон, a bekherovka, Campari) or liqueur (Beyliz, Cointreau, Malibu, Kalua). Besides, as auxiliary components, in preparation of cocktails use fruit and vegetable juices, mineral water, Coca, lemonade, various sugar syrups, cream.

3. There are several ways of preparation of cocktails. The first way – билд (build) – consists in preparation of drink directly in a glass, by imposing of several layers of ingredients, similar in density. The second option of preparation – Steere (stir) – assumes mixture of components in a separate glass then contents are filtered and gets to a drinking glass. This way is good the fact that all undesirable components (lemon stones, pulp, mint leaves) give the taste, but don't get to a glass. Often for preparation of cocktails use the third option – шейк (shake) at which in special adaptation (shaker) mix all ingredients. The shaker in house conditions can replace densely closed bank and chipped ice inside. If such components as ice cream, ice, fresh fruit are a part of cocktail, then for its preparation use the fourth method – a blend (blend) – hashing or beating by means of the blender.

4. As ornament for cocktails it is possible to use tubules and figured sticks for stirring, umbrellas. Besides, on edge of a glass it is possible to hang up a slice of a lemon, orange, pineapple, on a skewer to string olive, or to add drink with cherry for cocktail, a branch of mint or a melissa. The glass rim before a nalivaniye of cocktail in it can be decorated with a rim from coconut flakes, sugar or salt, previously having dipped it in a sugar or lemon syrup.

5. The recipe of the popular refreshing Mojito cocktail can serve as an example of the aforesaid. For its preparation for mixture (shaker) pour two teaspoons of a refiner syrup into capacity and fill in with fresh juice of one lime. There send 2-3 branches of mint and a little bit knead them before emergence of a strong smell. Then pour in the volume of 30 ml of rum and 100 ml of mineral water with gases. Having added chipped ice to contents, close a cover and mix ingredients. Pour out cocktail in a glass, decorate with a lime, mint and give to guests!
