How to prepare candied fruits from squash in the dryer for the winter

From vegetables it is quite possible to make sweet delicacy. By means of the dryer the candied fruits are preparing in itself, and you go about the own business. Very simply, quickly enough and tasty. It will be pleasant to children.

It is required to you

  • - 1 kg of squash without pulp,
  • - 200 g of sugar,
  • - 1 lemon or orange,
  • - 4 tablespoons of liquid honey.

Instruction

1. Clean squash, remove pulp and cut in cubes.

2. Put squash cubes in a pan, fill up with a glass of sugar (a glass on 200 ml). Leave squash for the night in the fridge.

3. Since morning merge the formed juice from squash. Pour juice in a small pan.

4. Wash a lemon, scald boiled water, cut pieces and put them in the blender, well crush.

5. Add to juice from squash the crushed lemon, mix, put on fire. After boiling reduce fire power.

6. Add 4 tablespoons of liquid honey to lemon weight, mix, you cook two more minutes.

7. Remove syrup from fire, filter through a strainer with a gauze. Fill in with the filtered syrup squash, mix. Put squash in syrup on fire, you cook until thick. Periodically stir slowly.

8. Then shift squash to dryer pallets. Put temperature by 70 degrees. You dry squash about three hours. Time of drying depends on your dryer therefore be guided by it.

9. Prepare a clean dry jar. As soon as candied fruits from squash are ready, shift them in a jar, twirl a cover. Candied fruits can be stored in the storeroom throughout all winter.
