Practically all ""are on friendly terms"" with the mixer. But here the blender, such improved version of the mixer, causes bewilderment in some. The first that should be meant, - at the mixer and the blender much in common. With their help it is possible to mix cocktails, to cook puree and to shake up creams. And, above all distinction is as follows: the mixer only mixes liquid, and the blender is able also to crush firm, even ice.

1. If you have a stationary blender (the blender jug or the blender glass), then you can do cocktails, cook puree and sauces, to shake up cream and eggs, to mix a mobile and semi-fluid dough and to crush ice. Only one knife is included in the package, there are no other nozzles. Not in all models - two knives (usual and for ice). On a jug of the blender there is a nose therefore it is convenient to liquid to pour. However never fill a jug to the brim! The stationary blender especially well works with soft fruit. Use the blender for crushing of onions, pepper, greens it is inconvenient — everything is sprayed on walls.

2. If you have a submersible blender, i.e. long "sticks" with two-blade knives below, then you should select a bowl in which it is the most convenient to immerse such blender. The device should be held in hand all the time. The longer it works, the more uniformly and more thinly crushes. Such blender imelchat small amounts of products, including onions, garlic, greens, nuts and also mixes puree and sauces. The submersible blender best of all ""copes"" with small portions therefore it is irreplaceable at preparation of baby food. The submersible blender isn't capable to cut beautifully vegetables and fruit - only ""chop"" and turn into mix.

3. If you have a blender with additional nozzles (the multipurpose device like "blender mixer, "multiset", "mini-combine", etc.), then remember that it works by the principle of the submersible blender, i.e. the device needs to be held in hand, and the longer it works, the mix turns out more small. The blender with additional nozzles can have several speeds of rotation. Presence of different tanks allows to process products more hygienically. In such blender functions of the submersible blender, i.e. crushing and mixing of vegetables and fruit, nuts and spices and also preparation of puree are conserved. The nozzle nimbus allows to do dough, creams and cocktails. Some blenders of this kind can crush ice. However it can't squeeze out juice or make forcemeat from meat.
