At me on the garden site two plum trees of a grade of Mirabel grow. They yield a harvest of juicy zheltenky plums excellent. We eat, we treat relatives and neighbors moreover and on jam there is a considerable share. I roll up every year 5-6 cans. And jam turns out such tasty that hardly till New Year's holidays is enough.

It is required to you

  • - plum of a grade of Mirabel - 1 kg,
  • - sugar - 1.2 kg,
  • - water - 1 l.

Instruction

1. Wet plum in cold water for half an hour, and then wash out and dry. Dissolve sugar in water and weld syrup. If you are going to cook jam with stones, plum needs to be prepared for cooking that the thin skin on berries didn't burst.

2. For this purpose at first we pin plums a wooden sharp stick, and then we lower for a minute serially in hot and cold water. But it is better to cook plum jam without stones. Therefore we take out them, "opening" each berry in half. After that at once we lower halves of berries in warm syrup. We bring on weak fire to the boil, we remove the formed skin. Now many hostesses of it don't do and if not to remove a skin, jam will be opaque and hazy.

3. After the third boiling we spread hot jam in the sterilized dry banks and we close them previously boiled covers.
