Box – evergreen bush, decoration of any personal plot. Landing and leaving
Box or buksus – very long-living culture. At good leaving the bush keeps decorative effect several decades, life of separate copies can be prolonged up to 500 years. In the wild nature the bush meets in the Caucasus, in Krasnodar Krai and in Adygea. The territory of wild-growing box is promptly reduced, today the plant is included in the Red List and is carefully protected.

It is important to provide the normal level of lighting. The box does not love direct bright light, the easy half-shade is necessary for it. If it is supposed to land buksus as green hedge, it is necessary to take care of shading. The best option is to plant bushes near high shady trees.
The box needs timely watering. It is impossible to allow overdryings of top layer of soil, the bush can lose leaves. The soil is often loosened, at the same time destroying weeds. During season bushes it is necessary to feed up several times complex fertilizer. If on bushes wreckers are noticed, spraying is carried out by the divorced insecticides.
Obligatory point in leaving – the forming hairstyle. It is carried out by each 4 weeks, at the same time introducing fertilizers. From time to time the extra root fertilizing improving quality of greens is carried out.
Reproduction of box shanks
It is the most convenient to make multiple copies box in house conditions shanks. They grow slowly, but well take root. It is better to land box in the spring when the soil has got warm, but has kept enough moisture. During the summer the young plant will manage to be created and will quietly worry winter.
Shanks 20-30 cm long take from the healthy and strong plants which are not struck with wreckers. Experienced gardeners recommend not to cut off, and accurately to break out, trying not to damage maternal bush. The prepared shanks land in containers with nutritious humus and place in the greenhouse or hotbed. It is not necessary to cover container with film.
During growth the shanks water with soft otstoyanny water. When the young growth takes roots, it is possible to replace it to the constant place – for example, in spacious flowerpot. The first fertilizing which needs to be repeated weekly is carried out to this moment.
