Elektrokosa with knife: advantages and shortcomings

Elektrokosa – the useful invention which has facilitated life of gardeners and villagers. Depending on preferences, it is possible to choose braid for simple bevelling of grass and for its simultaneous crushing.

Characteristics of the cutting elektrokosa surface

Thanks to this tool of problem of bevelling of weeds on the site, preservation of lawn of an accurate type, preparations of grass for pets became easily solved without special time expenditure and great physical efforts.

Electrotrimmers happen two types: equipped with special rigid fishing line and equipped with the cutting metal mill. In the first case the braid at the high speed of rotation cuts off and crushes grass, the second type of the tool differs in bigger performance. From the help to the metal cutting surface it is possible not only to mow high grass on mowings, without crushing it in dust, but also to cut young growth of bushes, to cut off thick stalks of rough weeds: burdock, wormwood, orach which cannot be cut off fishing line.

As a rule, more powerful and expensive models of electrotrimmers have different nozzles for fishing line, mill and the removable mechanism of their fastening which allows to use braid for the different purposes, changing the cutting element. If vegetation intends on forage animal, use of fishing line is undesirable as the grass is too strongly crushed and it does not do for hay. Besides the fishing line often breaks, its pieces can also get to forage to the cattle and cause in animals of disorder of digestion who lead sometimes to death of the cattle.

Types elektrokos with knife

The electric strimmers equipped with knives happen two types: heavy and easy. At the first the engine is located from below, and at the second - at handles. The lower arrangement of the motor does braid vulnerable to bevelling conditions. Such elektrokosy it is impossible to cut the crude grass not to put the tool out of action. Excessively high grass also cannot do for braid of this kind: power of the tool happens insufficiently to mow it, the engine in these cases too quickly breaks. When using such elektrokosa it is necessary to wait for full drying of dew or rain on meadow. It is convenient to use it only on sites with the low cultivated grass, then its application is quite convenient and economically justified. The second type of elektrokosa with the top arrangement of the engine is more preferable as it has no above shortcomings. The high arrangement of cursor helps to avoid short circuit when bevelling crude grass, with its help it is possible to mow clean the sites which have grown with weeds if engine capacity assumes similar loadings. It is possible to carry its big weight and volume dimensions to shortcomings of such braid that reduces maneuverability of the tool during the work. Gardeners upon purchase of this useful device have to study attentively provided characteristics and choose that elektrokosa which is more preferable to their requirements.
