Pipe conclusion through roof is final stage of works on laying of the furnace or fireplace. Irrespective of of what material the pipe is made, it is necessary to follow the rules of fire safety specified in Construction Norms and Regulations No. 41-01.

Instruction
1. You remove pipe in the most short distance to the fad. It will significantly reduce the probability of congestion of vapors and condensate that it is especially relevant in cold season. Follow rules of fire safety. The chimney has to be located at distance of 35 cm from flammable parts of roof design and on 25 cm from the designs protected from ignition.
2. Therefore around pipe build box of 50х50 cm in size. Through it you remove pipe, and there will be enough place for isolation by non-combustible materials. Establish protective box throughout all pipe length. That all designs have been reliably protected from ignition, begin to remove box with ceiling and finish over roof.
3. If you are going to establish pipe without box, observe gap between combustible designs and pipe. That warm air did not leave the room, sheathe the left gap nonflammable covering and warm haydite.
4. The safest option is conclusion of integral pipe without joints. If it cannot be made docking, you carry out above conclusion from ceiling and below roofing material and furring. Carefully pull together all places of connections with iron collars, envelop asbestos and record.
5. At brickwork use the flame brick intended for furnaces. For solution it is possible to use red sticky clay or cement.
6. When using ready flues which are provided in trade in wide assortment your work will come down only to mounting. All ready flues are carefully protected and isolated therefore additional covering by asbestos or haydite is not required.
7. To protect roofing material from ignition, in conclusion of mounting works of pipe establish hood. It will help not only to avoid sparks, but also will protect pipe from precipitation.
