Parquet board – floor covering which is made of natural wood. This construction material has appeared not so long ago. The parquet board is alternative to block parquet. Now such boards win the increasing popularity in Russia.

1. At parquet board multilayered structure. In it there are at least three wood layer stuck together among themselves. The top layer is made of valuable breeds of wood. Most often the top layer is done of oak, beech, maple, nut, birch, cherry. Pay attention to layer thickness. The durability of parquet board depends on this indicator. The layer, the bigger number of grindings is thicker it will sustain.
2. The center is made of the short lamels which are stuck together among themselves from coniferous breeds of tree or from strong plate - HDF. The base layer is made of fir-tree plywood which thickness about 2 millimeters.
3. The parquet board is made on certain technology. Layers stick together in such a way that fibers of wood of each subsequent layer are perpendicular to fibers of wood of previous. Becomes it to prevent linear changes of board at temperature fluctuations.
4. Standard dimension of parquet board is left 2 meters in length and 20 centimeters width. Its thickness can be from 7 to 26 millimeters. The top layer can have various thickness. The this layer is thicker, the floor covering is more durable.
5. Boards which have the 7th millimetric top layer from interline interval are not exposed to scraping. Most often apply boards 13-15 millimeters thick to finishing of floors. Working layer at them about 4 millimeters. They are suitable for laying, both in premises, and in public. At parquet board 20 mm thick the top layer is equal to 6 mm. Such boards use usually for public places.
6. For laying on logs in the inhabited and public place it is recommended to use 22 millimetric boards. At such parquet boards the working layer is equal to 4 millimeters. The inside layer is made of fiber board of the high density (HDF). Base layer - from fir-tree plywood or oak.
