All rooms in which there are people or animals have to be ventilated for the purpose of maintenance in them healthy air. Air exchange of the room represents the volume of the fresh air coming to the room, or fulfilled, leaving it per unit of time (hour). Performance of the exhaust or supply fan installed indoors has to be not less that value of air exchange which is necessary for maintenance of harmless composition of air.

Instruction
1. Count necessary value of air exchange which has to be carried out indoors according to sanitary standards. The procedure of payments depends on in what look in normative documents (MGSN3.01-01, SNiP2.04.05-91) have provided basic data for calculation. If data are provided by value of ventilation rate (the number of regenerations of all volume of indoor air for hour), then air exchange (fan delivery) of P is determined by formula: P = m*V, where V – room volume in m³; m – ventilation rate in 1/hour.
2. If the value of air exchange counting on one person acts as basic data, the fan delivery is calculated by formula P = by k*N where k – the number of the people who are in the room; N – value of air exchange counting on one person in m³/час.
3. The value of air exchange for kitchens can be represented counting on certain quantity of the established rings (2, 3 or 4). In this case you will choose that value of air exchange which corresponds to number of rings in your kitchen. In particular, for dvukhkonforochny plate the air exchange has to be equal 60 m³/час, for trekhkonforochny – 75 m³/час, for four-ring – not less than 90 m³/час.
4. In certain cases the value of air exchange is given per 1 m² of room space. In this case the required fan delivery is counted on formula P = by p*F where p – value of air exchange per 1 m² of room space in m³/час; F– room space in m².
5. For some rooms (toilets, bathrooms, the combined bathrooms) there are fixed values of air exchange. In this case it is necessary just to accept fan delivery equal to this value. For example, for toilet and the bathroom the value of air exchange is accepted equal 25 m³/час, for the combined bathrooms – 50 m³/час.
