Sometimes the old sofa happens it is very a pity to throw out, even in spite of the fact that it has strongly worn out and has lost the original form. Yes in it there is also no need. To draw upholstery of favourite sofa the hands not so difficult. Also this repair much cheaper, than acquisition of new furniture will cost.

Instruction
1. Sort sofa. Unscrew two bolts fixing each of armrests. One of bolts is located under sitting of sofa, near edge. The second - on back back.
2. Remove the fastenings connecting sitting, back and side side bar. For this purpose turn off side bar and spread out sofa. Disconnect back and sitting. Mark parts by means of marker - it will facilitate the subsequent assembly.
3. Remove old nails and brackets by means of flat-nose pliers and the screw-driver. Be very attentive - the remained elements of fastening can damage new upholstery of sofa.
4. Carefully remove covers - they can be used as curve for new upholstery. Extract all fillers.
5. Take foam rubber and cut off it on sofa framework by means of knife. Glue all finger joints of framework with PVA glue. Fix hardboard, using self-tapping screws.
6. Cover the spring block with coarse calico, having fixed it by means of the stapler on framework perimeter. Apply PVA glue on fabric and foam rubber. Put foam rubber on coarse calico. Thanks to glue layer, foam rubber will not move under sofa upholstery. For giving of additional volume on foam rubber it is recommended to paste sintepon.
7. Turn out sofa covers on inner side and put marking. The more tags you will apply on fabric, the it will be more convenient and simpler at production of new covers. Accurately unstitch old upholstery on seams.
8. Take upholstery fabric and place on it curves. Circle contours. Marks should be put from reverse. Cut parts, transferring to them tags. Accurately sew.
9. Pull new upholstery on framework, being guided by traces of installation of old brackets. Record cover by means of the stapler. It is necessary to fix upholstery at first on the long parties of framework. After installation of each bracket it is recommended to pull and correct fabric - it will allow to avoid formation of wrinkles.
10. Collect sofa in the return sequence, being verified with the tags applied on parts.
