Tuberous begonias differ in beautiful, magnificent blossoming during the period from spring to late fall. There is set of types of tuberous begonias from which are distinguished ampelous and bush, small and large. Tuberous begonias can be grown up in the open air on beds and also in pots of the house or on the balcony.

1. Now boarding. Make mix of soils. Mix 1 part of fertile humous soil, 1 part of peat and 2 parts of coarse-grained sand. Take small pot or dig up small allotment. On bottom of pot put drainage from stones, and from above fill up with the prepared mix of soils. In case with bed also lay drainage on hole bottom, from above having fertilized the mixed soil. Plant begonia, water it right after landing.

2. Watering. Begonias love the friable, easy soil therefore excessive watering is harmful to them. Water begonias with regularly soft otstoyanny water of room temperature, being guided by dryness of top soil. For prevention of disease of leaves you carry out small-drop indirect spraying.

3. Leaving. Begonias love moderate lighting. Therefore preserve them against hit of direct sunshine in the summer, and in the winter in addition highlight them. All the year round maintain identical air temperature within 20 degrees. Begonias do not love drafts and dry air therefore you hold them far away from heating appliances. During the period from spring to fall feed up plants once a week, in the winter as required.

4. Reproduction. Begonias are exposed to reproduction all the year round, they breed in the vegetative way. Take stem or root shanks or just pieces of leaves, place them in hybrid of damp sand with peat and cover with film or glass. Put to the warm place approximately for month. After emergence of roots replace young plants in small pots.
