1. The lilac does not demand serious efforts for landing. The neutral soil is suitable for this bush. If on your site the sour soil, then it is necessary to process it dolomite powder or slaked lime. It is desirable to choose the flat solar place for landing of lilac, then the bush will blossom is more abundant. This plant is frost-resistant therefore it is not obligatory to cover it for the winter at all. Crude and boggy soils are categorically contraindicated for cultivation of lilac.
2. Care for lilac consists in soil cultivation and removal of weeds. Every fall it is necessary to make redigging of the soil on depth of 10-15 centimeters (about root neck no more than 7 centimeters). Be accurate, try not to damage roots as they are located practically on earth surface. Leave the dug-over earth for the winter, do not level. Loosen the condensed soil with rake in the spring, it contributes to the best development of lilac and preservation of moisture. Do not forget to delete weeds in due time.
3. In May and the beginning of June follows it is abundant to water lilac bush as it begins to blossom, demanding large amount of moisture (do not pour). From the middle of July the waterings need to be stopped completely not to provoke emergence of kidneys. 4.
