It is possible to define places where there pass underground waters, on the site by own efforts, using several national methods, such as: indication method, analysis of vegetation cover, observation of behavior of animals, birds, insects and signs of the natural phenomena.
Instruction
1. For definition of underground waters indication, the aluminum wire 30-40 cm long is necessary. The ends of wire (10-15 cm) bent at right angle, are inserted into hollow tubes from treelike elder so that could rotate freely. The condition of pro-reducing dies meaning lack of water – the unrolled corner (180 degrees), crossing speaks about water-bearing stratum. The current of underground waters is defined by the direction of the closed pro-reducing dies (to the right - on the left; back and forth). The center of the well should be looked for in the perpendicular direction from the place where were crossed wire. When the divorced rods meet, it means the direction of source. Evasion in the parties, means that it is necessary to continue search of the place where the ends will again be crossed.
2. Water is closely connected with vegetation therefore the different people long since used hints of the nature. The abundance of hygrophilous plants, density and saturation of color of greens, all this told about amount of underground water. Tell such plants as coltsfoot, sedge, silverweed about close arrangement of underground waters goose, hemlock, foxglove, horse sorrel, cane, nettle, horsetail and others. Growth of wild currant or, on the contrary, the bad growth of plum, apple-tree and cherry defines availability of water on the site too.
3. Each animal feels abundance of moisture and in own way reacts. For example, thirsting, the horse smells the earth and hoofs, the dog digs hole. The arrangement of lodges, holes, slots reveals availability of ground waters too. For example, red ants, chickens, mice will not begin to do the slots on the damp area, and here geese lay eggs on places where water approaches close the earth. The area with underground waters can be defined also thanks to insects, for example, thanks to small cloudlets of the mosquitoes after sunset indicating availability of subamphibious places.
4. Also it is possible to look for water on natural signs. The humidity is felt obviously where abundance of fog or dew. And, where underground waters proceed closer, that dew loss will be more abundant. At dry weather salt will surely become wet, and inverted bank will be covered with dew.
