Construction mixes are applied to finishing of houses and other rooms. They are made in the form of powder which needs to be dissolved in water. There are several types of dry mixes which are chosen depending on type of the carried-out works.
Plaster
Plaster - the material intended for alignment of walls, ceilings and their protection against external factors of influence. It is sometimes applied to decorative finishing. Plaster has several versions, depending on application assignment. Distinguish normal (for alignment of walls and the subsequent drawing other decorative coats), special (for sound absorption and heatsaving) and decorative (for finishing of ready surfaces). The mixes containing lime or incorporating plaster are the most widespread. Also cement plaster for finishing of rooms both inside, and outside is widely used.
Putty
Putty – powder material which is applied to alignment of various surfaces before putting finishing materials or colourings. The putty happens several types, depending on structure: glue (glue solution), latex, shpakrilovy (for seal of plinths or processing of the plastered surfaces contains 10%), acrylic, oil, oil-glue. Putties put already at the last stage of alignment.
Dandy-rolls for floor
The dandy-roll for floor – the dry mix created for alignment of the basis of floor and hiding engineering networks. It is put before laying of such coverings as tile, laminate, parquet and linoleum. Construction mix helps to eliminate roughnesses which can prevent laying. Powder is made of cement or plaster. Mixes from plaster are used for creation of thick tie of floor with the maximum layer in 100 mm. At the same time cement powder is capable to create qualitative layer only at 50 mm thick. Plaster also regulates temperature condition indoors and absorbs moisture surplus. To be necessary to note that the price of plaster dandy-rolls is slightly higher.
Before use of any materials it is necessary to study instructions for their application attentively. Observe exact proportions at cultivation with water and you remember that ready solution needs to be used within 30 minutes.
Tiled glue
Tiled glue is used for attachment of ceramic tile, mosaic and stones to surface. It is also used when mounting stone heat-insulating flags. It is necessary to distinguish from types of these construction mixes universal, strengthened, frost-resistant and glue for pools. The last differs from the others in the increased waterproofing properties and sometimes has the additives interfering emergence of fungus or mold because of the raised moisture. Frost-resistant mix is applied to external works. All-purpose adhesive will be suitable for tipping of tile of the small sizes.
The divorced construction mixes can be applied by means of plaster blade and falcon.
Primer
Primer – structure which is applied with the first layer on the surface which is already prepared for coloring to create the maximum coupling with covering. Also mix protects metal from corrosion, blocks time and other defects of the painted surface. They are made on the basis of drying oils and various pitches. The dried-up grounded surface is covered with varnish or paint.
