When carrying out cutting first of all features (age, grade, etc.) of tree are considered. The main task of cutting at early stage of life of plant is forming of krone for the purpose of fructification stimulation. At the same time such main issues as are resolved: giving of the form corresponding to weather conditions and convenient for harvesting; strengthening of skeletal connections of boughs; uniformity of distribution of boughs longwise and around trunk.

1. The systems of forming of krone there is great variety, we will consider only the general rules of cutting of branches and their shortening. Remember that the best time for cutting - early spring (March-April).
2. Secateurs or garden knife cut off branches at necessary length. When performing cut do not do distortions and turns of edge. Not to split wood, the edge needs to be directed across tree fabrics.
3. Cut large branches on ring flow. The heavy branch can break off before the termination of cut therefore it is necessary to cut it in parts.
4. When using garden saw at first file knot from below, then already begin to saw from above.
5. Do not leave stump or thorn after cut, it will dry up and the hollow is formed. Do cut most close to the main escape.
6. Do not shorten the annual and strongly branching trees, such plants demand simultaneous removal of several branches entirely.
7. Use only serviceable and sharp tool. Do cuts equal and clean, without edge fins.
8. You do not put 2-3 wounds close from each other – the branch can wither.
9. Do not climb trees not to damage bark, use air secateurs, delimbers, step-ladders and ladders.
10. Protect all wounds on tree, except small, right after cutting. Best of all is suitable for these purposes special garden var, but it is possible to use also paint. Roughnesses on surface of cuts need to be smoothed down sharp knife or emery cloth, at the same time it is not necessary to cut off bark at the edges and to round off cuts. Or var impose paint even, thin layer.
11. As a result, if it is correct to make cutting of trees at the dacha or personal plot, there will be creation of powerful krone quicker and there will come the fructification period.
