- cardboard, paper "craft", tracing-paper, painting adhesive tape, pattern (office) knife, replaceable edges to it, the fret saw or the electrofret saw with edges for metal, thermogun with set of glue, glue brush, metal ranges 50 and 80 of cm, all-purpose adhesive for wall-paper, quick-drying glue for tree and liquid Moment glue for big surfaces.
Instruction
1. Pick up necessary amount of cardboard, suitable for your product. For internal partitions of products with curves, rounded shapes use single-layer cardboard, two- or three-layer will be suitable for internal walls of rectilinear furniture. Remember that dark cardboard stronger, than light.
2. Prepare also paper "craft" normal packing or white for covering of finished product for coloring or decorative pasting inside and outside. For the same purpose it is possible to use tracing-paper, at the same time both paper, and tracing-paper to tear hands is necessary to receive more plain surface. The painting adhesive tape moistened with sponge with water best of all will be suitable for pasting of corners and joints. Use pencil, elastic band and metal line of 50 cm and 80 cm for creation of pattern and marking and also for cardboard cutting. For processing of cuts change abrasive paper, and for waterproof covering – parquet lacquer.
3. Choice of form for cardboard furniture. Use for a start patterns from the Internet or books, choose small subject to understand technology, and then it will be possible to think out the design.
4. Develop the furniture taking into account several rules: objects have to be proportional, steady; if furniture symmetric, it is possible to draw half of pattern, and just to represent the second specularly; minimum quantity of components 3: it is facade, internal elements and back wall. The number of internal elements on which into notches perpendicular parts are inserted depends on form, stability and depth of furniture (up to 30 cm 1 element suffices). 5. You keep in memory at design "clothes" of furniture 0.6 cm thick which will be added on all surface because of obkleyka craft and decorative paper or fabric.
6. Cardboard cutting. Press cardboard heavy long metal ruler when carrying out the machine cut for line clearness. Use the fret saw for acceleration of process of cutting of identical forms – they can cut at the same time several layers, having fastened them with paper painting adhesive tape. Leave corners of lines nedopilenny – knife for corners are sharp to cut off them more conveniently and more accurately.
