1. For construction of the Alpine hill choose the most solar place on the site. It is good if the slope of the hill is directed to the southeast. On the chosen place it is necessary to dig ditch about a meter in depth. Fill it with construction waste, crushed stone, gravel or just beaten brick. Such drainage will not allow your Alpine hill to sink in the future and will contain flowers on poor diet as they have got used in mountains. On drainage sand by height not less half a meter and layer of the earth is filled.
2. Now we will pass to design of the hill. Stones for the Alpine hill choose natural; it is possible to choose such which are covered with moss. Spread at first large stones at the edges, and then - smaller on all rock garden. Small stones will well look on upper part of the hill. Big boulders are recommended to be earthed on two thirds, so they will look naturally. When laying stones it is not necessary to observe symmetry that the hill did not look as flower bed.
3. Plants for the Alpine hill choose unpretentious, it is desirable heliophilous. Plant undersized and pochvopokrovny flowers. They occupy empty allotments, extend on it by means of short moustaches. Treat such plants: thyme, daisies, wild strawberry, St. John's wort and others. For blossoming it is possible to plant tulips, galanthuses, crocuses or primrose in the spring.
