At various krupyany and flour-grinding enterprises the granulators are used for processing of bran and other waste products. In household for preparation of nutritious forage for animals which can it is long to be stored, to make perhaps the simplest granulator with own hands.
1. From metal corner weld the bed for future granulator.
2. Also by means of welding make box of sheets of metal - the granulator basis. The box has to have big opening in the top horizontal edge diameter equal to diameter of matrix (usually matrixes have standard diameter for each model). The raw product will be loaded into this opening: compound feed, grass meal, etc.
3. On circle of opening strengthen sides up to 7-10 cm high. In the lower horizontal edge of box make opening under wave of rotation of matrix. In side edge of box cut square opening for exit of the final product. It is possible to equip it with small tray.
4. Establish by the system of nuts in box wave of rotation of matrix. Fix matrix on shaft so that its surface coincided with the level of the top edge of box.
5. Strengthen box on the bed by means of bolts and nuts. Strengthen the electric motor on the bed. Connect the belt gear wave of matrix and shaft of the motor.
6. Make tin bell for falling asleep of raw product (the normal tin bucket with the cut-off bottom can be it). Establish bell on the top inlet opening of box.
7. Establish on matrix skating rink with worm gear wheels. The granulator is ready.
