Floors in the apartment or in own house on the first floor demand warming as to cold season through them there is considerable heat waste - up to 20%. To make the warmed floor, the easiest to lay carpet or the warmed linoleum on the existing floor. But it can be insufficiently in owner-occupied dwelling if floors old and grow damp. In the house under construction it is worth thinking of warming of floor in advance.
It is required to you
- - heater: mineral wool, expanded polystyrene or ecocotton wool;
- - waterproofing - polyethylene film not less than 200 microns thick;
- - vapor barrier - folgoizolon (foil).
Instruction
1. Prepare ""draft"" floor. For this purpose remove old wooden floor and on floor slabs lay waterproofing that dampness from the basement did not get into the house on the cleaned tie. Fasten film with normal office adhesive tape in places of joints which do with an overlap. It is possible to take for ""draft"" floor existing, but in this case floor-to-ceiling height will decrease. Establish logs under floorboard which height has to be more than thickness of heater.
2. Lay on waterproofing heater if it tiled, adjust its sizes closely to logs, using normal knife. All wooden elements of floor (bars, logs and floorboard from rear side) have to be processed by anti-septic tank for protection against bugs and fungus. Eco-friendly modern heater is ecocotton wool with which all space between logs without gaps and slots by means of the blown machine is filled.
3. Over heater lay vapor barrier - folgoizolon. When laying by its foil upward this material reflects infrared beams and thus keeps heat indoors, that is additional energy saving turns out. When using ecocotton wool as heater in vapor barrier there is no need.
4. On board and heater of at least 1-2 cm. In places of joints of floor with wall you get vapor barrier on wall, after mounting of floor close it plinth. The new warmed floor is ready, can go on it barefoot even in the winter.
