Cilantro, it coriander – dream of any hostess. It is applied both to pastries, and to conservation. Curative properties of coriander were known in extreme antiquity. Perhaps, will be not so much in the world of diseases at which this miracle grass would not help to alleviate suffering. Cilantro can be grown up both on the seasonal dacha, and on the balcony or even on windowsill. However, the last is slightly more difficult – cilantro though is not really whimsical, but nevertheless has some features.
Instruction
1. Prepare bed. If you only begin to equip the seasonal dacha, choose the place where the long-term grass grew for cilantro. Mow grass, dig up the earth and mix the soil with mowed grass. Cilantro grows in the easy soil better therefore if necessary it is possible to add sand. The site for coriander has to be well lit and clean.
2. Mark furrows. It is very deeply not necessary to put coriander – no more, than on 10 cm. Optimum distance between furrows – 40-50 cm.
3. Wet seeds. It is better to use for this purpose natural growth factor – for example, aloe juice. In this case seeds will sprout quicker.
4. Seed seeds, cover them with earth. If you put coriander towards the winter, any more you yet will be required, needs only to wait for nothing for spring.
5. The coriander very much does not love weeds therefore it should be weeded periodically. Remove weeds as soon as shoots appear. Make it several times until cilantro gets stronger. Adult plants do not need frequent weeding, they also are capable to cope with any weeds.
6. The harvest of cilantro can be received several times during the summer. If you have opportunity to allocate several beds under coriander, seed seeds on one of them, in about two weeks in the early spring – on another and so on. It is necessary to plant cilantro within one summer on different beds.
7. If you want to grow up cilantro on the balcony, make long box. On bottom fill a little crushed stone – there has to be good drainage. Fill mix from the earth and sand. Make superficial grooves and sow seeds as well as on bed. But on strongly shaded balcony cilantro will want grow hardly therefore it is necessary or to refuse this idea, or to do artificial lighting. On windowsill it is possible to grow up coriander too, but it is better to make it at the dacha and to replace ready bush.
