Correctly picked up carpet laid on the floor is capable to give to the room additional comfort and cosiness. That it pleased and lightened the mood as long as possible, it is necessary to move away him in due time. Timely cleaning and competent leaving allow to increase carpet life cycle considerably. Otherwise it will become dirty and dim, at the same time it will be impossible to return it initial beauty.

1. That the carpet has not faded, has not burned out and has not gone bald ahead of time, it needs to be cleaned regularly from spots, dirt and dust. Cleaning can be entrusted professionals or to make all the hands without their help. As a rule, in house conditions it is very difficult, and at times, it is impossible to wash carpet of the big size. In this case it is possible to make its cleaning in other ways.
2. For a start carefully vacuum it, remove spots if those are available, and carry out the damp cleaning allowing to remove residues of dirt and dust. Spots are fat remove by means of gasoline, blot from ball pen – acetic or citric acid.
3. It is possible to return to life and the carpet which has darkened from time. For this purpose clean it freshly cooked, hot wheat bran decoction. Instead of broth it is also possible to use weak solution of vinegar. In cold season you can clean carpet by means of snow.
4. After you get rid of spots, you can start damp cleaning. For this purpose shake up in dense foam special means for carpets or the most normal laundry detergent diluted with normal water. Accurately apply the received foam on all surface of carpet and leave it for 20 minutes. Upon termination of time the carpet will need to be vacuumed. In the absence of the vacuum cleaner, the carpet can be cleaned large, rigid brush.
5. Instead of foam on all surface it is possible to scatter coarse table salt and to sweep away it damp broom. As the broom becomes soiled, it will need to be rinsed water, and to replace dirty salt with clean.
6. If on carpet there were high temples, then the damaged place can be restored easily. For this purpose take suitable on color, small hank of wool and cut from it large number of small fibers. Apply on high temple a little super glue and densely fill up this place with planed fibers then walk on them the hot iron. In five hours by means of soft brush remove surplus of pile which could not be fixed.
7. Paint over the burned-out places normal colored pencils which color needs to be selected for shade of the main drawing on carpet. Replacements of pile can be removed if to take carpet some time over steam.
