Invariable attributes of modern time for protection of the dwelling are the metal doors on entrance to entrance equipped with the intercom. There is set of the reasons because of which the intercom can incorrectly work - from banal carelessness of your neighbors before serious breakages of the operating block. The most part from these breakages can be corrected or, at least, to localize most, without waiting for arrival of experts.
It is required to you
- - tester (multimeter);
- - screw-driver;
- - flat-nose pliers;
- - serviceable intercom handset.
Instruction
1. Interview neighbors and try to provide breakage scale: the intercom does not work only for you, at the floor or in all stairwell. If problems with the intercom are observed only in your apartment, disconnect cord from intercom handset then connect it back, having replaced polarity ("polarity reversal").
2. Check multimeter availability of tension on the entering cord.
3. Check address crossing points taking into account shift, move them a little and wipe with alcohol. If it does not help, it is necessary – to go one to shop behind new tube.
4. Connect serviceable tube short wire to the line directly in guard. If the tube has earned, look for wire break or short circuit on the site from guard to your apartment.
5. Check correctness of polarity of connection on the switchboard. For this purpose measure by multimeter resistance between the tire of ""dozens"" and the tire of ""units"" on availability of the wrong connections. Independent wrong connection of tube between tires of ""units"" or ""dozens"", short circuit of one of the ends of tires of ""dozens"" or ""units"" on the metal body of guard or ""breakdown"" of one of switchboard keys can be their cause. In the first two cases it is necessary to redeem normal situation of wiring. In the latter case it is necessary to replace the switchboard serviceable.
6. Address to firm which installed the intercom with request to provide you the access code of the administrator. In case of refusal you call in representative office of manufacturing firm, having specified by it nine-digit number of your panel. Look whether your apartment programmatically is blocked, whether numbering of apartments in the stairwell, etc. is correctly set.
7. Call the master if all operations which are listed above have not brought the expected result.
