3. At first get the axe. Axes are different, but you need splitting axe – it is specially created for splitting of firewood. It is not necessary to sharpen it, you need not to cut firewood, namely to split.
4. So, choose one churochka, thick, knotty that it was difficult to split. On it you will also chop other wood.
5. The easiest to chop dry wood. Split the first chock in half. And for this purpose you need to strike at first to one region of chock, and then – to the region opposite to it. If has not broken up, repeat actions. In the same way split chock halves. By the way, it will be easier "to divide into halves" them.
6. Often chocks meet one-two knots that complicates splitting process. Try to strike blows with splitting axe parallel to knot from face, distant from it. So you will significantly save the forces.
