To remove polyurethane foam from skin quite difficult therefore during operating time with it it is recommended to put on gloves. However if you for any of several reasons have not made it, you need to know how it is possible to wash away polyurethane foam from hands.

1. Remember: at hit of polyurethane foam it is necessary to affect skin very quickly, otherwise foam will stiffen and then it is necessary to wait for several days until it disappears itself together with the died-off cells of epithelium. Try to remove accurately foam from hands by means of rag. Be very careful, do not smear foam on skin! Further try to remove foam from skin by means of gasoline, acetone or cleaner. Even ordinary liquid will be suitable for varnish removal. Be extremely careful when using such means as cleaner or gasoline, follow safety rules!
2. If neither gasoline, nor acetone, nor cleaner have helped or they are not just in your house, try other way. Pour warm water in basin and add table salt. Lower hands in water and wait some time. To enhance effect, try to wipe polyurethane foam from skin by means of rigid bast or pumice. Also the soapsuds helps to get rid of polyurethane foam. Take in such water of hand, from time to time carefully soaping them and wiping foam from skin sponge or bast. You should not pass to the following step at once if foam is not washed within 5-10 minutes as washing off of polyurethane foam from hands by means of soap and warm water – quite long process.
3. There is also one more way which assemblers sometimes use. Take vegetable oil, warm up and grease with it skin of hands. Then fill on hands of a little laundry detergent, accurately and carefully wipe it foam from hands. It is possible to use also pumice or rigid bast. Rub until foam is not removed from hands, and then carefully wash hands with warm water. It is possible just to oil properly hands sunflower and to wait 10-20 minutes, and then to wash away oil water. Most likely, polyurethane foam will be washed away together with oil.
