When carrying out repair or artworks, and especially in the course of children's creativity, on furniture, carpets and clothes spots from PVA glue sometimes appear. Fortunately, it is fixable as PVA - not most difficult removed type of glue.
Instruction
1. PVA - one of the most widespread types of glue which are applied to pasting of paper and cardboard, fabrics, tree, fiber glass, tile. These are not all spheres of its application. It represents dispersion of polyvinyl acetate in water, also softener and additives are its part. And externally is white or yellowish tying liquid. PVA is very popular because of the high kleyushchy properties and because it is non-toxic.
2. Glue PVA partially vodorastvory, and the emulsified part of glue is dissolved in organic solvents, such as acetone, ethyl acetate, benzene, methanol and methylene dichloride and also in acetic acid. Therefore first of all try to wash it by means of normal warm water. If it has already dried up, but there has passed a little time, put wet rag on spot and wait while glue razmoknt. Do so, only if the cleaned surface or material are not capable to deteriorate under the influence of water.
3. From plain surface, for example, from table, try to remove glue as film, having used the palette or similar subject. If the spot from glue has appeared on carpet and has managed to dry up, also try to hook it under edge and to tear off carefully, and to finish cleaning the remains damp rag. Other option is to cut pile accurately.
4. If the clothes were soiled, wet it in soap solution, then wash and carefully to propoloskayta. But it will work, most likely, if the spot has not dried up yet, in interaction with air and drying of PVA turns into almost insoluble polymer. In this case it is possible to try to wipe spot with vinegar or medical alcohol (cotton tampon), to wait until glue is dissolved, and then to wash off thing. But at first make sure that these means will not do harm to material.
5. One more way is to put thing in the freezer. Glue will be easier to lag behind and will become brittle. Then quickly take away it from material until glue has again heated up.
