Metaboxes allow to make drawers for kitchen. These are metal systems which can be equipped with the hydrocloser and reylinga. Such options can be established in complete kitchen under washing or oven.
Metaboxes – the metal sidewalls intended for sliding boxes. It is the set including two metal sidewalls in which upper part rollers with guides are located. Are most popular in kitchen furniture, but it is possible to meet also in halls, sliding wardrobes. Metaboxes can be used as for internal, and false facades.
Features
Such designs represent the system of incomplete promotion therefore box it is possible to put forward on ¾ lengths. The allowable load reaches 10-20 kg. Thanks to thin metal walls product durability increases. At the same time designs the thick bottom is provided. It increases possible loadings.
The metalbox assumes availability of adjustment of fastening of facade thanks to what it is easy to adjust it on the furniture body. Thanks to placement of rollers in upper part the box does not sway here and there when opening.
Excellent capacity belongs to features – thin walls take away less internal space in comparison with the massif, chipboard or MDF.

Metaboxes are often equipped with the hydrocloser. It is designed to return automatically box in starting position. At the expense of it for its closing it is not necessary to make special efforts.
Design and basic elements
Metaboxing can have various height of side guides. There are also special levels of building. Thanks to it if necessary it is possible to increase product height. The systems of division allow to organize correctly space in the box.
Important element are guides. Several years ago skid types were used. Today roller and ball guides are actively applied. The first become covered with epoxy enamel, are provided by big variety of shades. They maintain dynamic load to 25 kg that it is quite enough for kitchen.
Ball guides (telescopic) have higher cost, have the smooth course. On sale it is possible to meet options with closers and without them. There are many versions which differ mainly with height and extent of promotion.
Sometimes as accessories for boxes roller metaboxes are used. This element has similarity to roller guides, consists from:
- Two side basic tires made stamping method of metal.
- Pull-out tires which serve at the same time and sidewalls.
- Fixing the mechanism of the facade equipped with adjustment screws.
- Reylingov, representing hollow metal tubes for increase in height of box.
- Boksaydov – the additional side parts from metal established on the railing.
The surface of boxes is often painted in white, beige or steel color. MDF of 16-18 mm is applied to the organization of bottom. It allows to make box more reliable.
Versions
For placement of box under oven metalboxes with height of 54 mm are often used. The built-in oven has height about 600 mm. Because of it there is place minimum for production of box. It is better to project box under specific oven as parameters can change as in the big, and lower side. On the lower horizon the cut under the handle often becomes. It is not recommended to establish this element on facade as it is possible to cling to it legs.
One more version is the organization of internal box. In this case the special adapters connecting boards to front wall are used. If necessary it is possible to increase height at the expense of reyling which are selected taking into account metaboxing depth. If necessary on height two elements are established.
Calculations and installation
On width you should not do box more than 600 mm on facade. When choosing the big sizes it is worth putting wide the railing or two handles on box. It will provide opening strictly forward without distortions in different directions.
Width of bottom can be calculated by formula: from external dimensions of the body width of sidewalls and guides is subtracted. For length of bottom it is necessary to take away 2 mm from length of guide. Height of wall is height of sidewall minus bottom thickness.
The railing are established in those metaboxes where front part on height exceeds height of sidewalls in 2 and more times. This part provides more dense adherence to the curbstone body in closed position, gives to all design stability. Length of this element is metaboxing guide length. This element fastens to back wall with use of bracket on screws, to facade – by means of dowels.
Assembly of metaboxes begins with twisting by confirmation candidates of bottom with back wall. At this stage it is important to watch that there was no shift of parts. After connection, sidewalls are fixed, if necessary the small rudimentny parts located in front of metal sidewalls are removed combination pliers.
As sidewalls are located below guides, the place of fixture is defined so: to height of sidewall 15 mm increase. The received parameter – distance at which it is necessary to fasten side tires.
Installation of facades happens on special technology as for metaboxes the special accessories are used. These are two metal corners which connect the screw to clamping level. On one party to which the facade is fastened there are cuts for screws or self-tapping screws, with side – the screw for adjustment.
At first the body of boxes is inserted into the module, on sidewalls corners are established. There is facade marking, corners are removed from sidewalls, are fastened to pads. Facades with fixing accessories are put on the body of boxes, fixed. It is necessary to adjust pads.
