Instruction
1. In the spring when adult individuals begin to breed and also in the fall, after harvesting of potato, prepare poisonous "treat" for Colorado beetles. Cut 1 kg of potato small segments and wet in urea solution (1:2 with water). Leave to infuse for 2-3 days, having closed cover. After segments of potatoes have infused in urea, spread out "treat" on cans and place between potato ranks. It is also possible to apply baits with chlorofosy or carbophos. Repeat this procedure once a week.
2. It is possible to struggle with the potato wrecker by means of special purchased solutions, for example "Earth juice". Dilute the concentrated solution in water (1:20) and spray potato. It is also possible to etch bugs various chemicals. Neonicotinoides are most effective. It is Mospilan, Aktara, Dimilin. Do not forget to change medicine every year that the bug became resistant to poison.
3. One more effective way of fight against Colorado beetle is when it destroys itself(himself). For this method it is necessary to collect in one-liter jar of adult individuals, then to pour out them in 20 l capacity, to fill in with boiled water and to close cover. After all bugs die and will fall by capacity bottom, wait 1 more week. Cast ready poison on three one-liter jars and dilute with water in concentration 1:1, 1:2, 1:3. After solution is ready, spray from each can on several bushes. Next day you will see what concentration is suitable for your grade of potatoes.
4. To get rid of bug, it is possible to apply also various plants decoctions with pungent smells. For example, to fill in fresh wormwood with boiled water and to bring to boiling. Infusion to cool, filter and add 5 liters of water. To spray with ready solution potatoes bushes. Or to prepare bitter pepper decoction.
