Emergence of black midge on cabbage cannot be ignored, it is necessary to take measures for rescue of harvest urgently. The fact is that midges can cause loss not only to cabbage, but also other cultures in kitchen garden, having moved on the next beds.
Than to process cabbage from black flea beetle, everyone the gardener solves independently, however it is necessary to consider if on culture there are a lot of wreckers (whole colonies of insects), then in this case preference should be given to insecticidal medicines. It is possible to use them not later than 20 days before harvesting. Also it is necessary to consider that the black midge postpones larvae in soil, therefore, to get rid of wreckers, it is necessary to use the means influencing root system.

- Enzhio;
- Detsis Profi.
All above-mentioned medicines are produced in the form of emulsions, tablets or powders. They perfectly cope not only with black midge, but also many other insects wreckers. Means quickly enough (the majority of insects perish within half an hour after processing) work, and medicines and for the next 7-14 days after spraying continue to work.
If you do not trust industrial medicines and prefer to use national recipes, then look narrowly at following methods. All of them are safe and allow to grow up cabbage without use of chemical means.
Infusion of wood ashes. Sift about 100 g of ashes and mix it with one liter of water, boil within half an hour then filter mix and bring structure to volume of 2 liters. Add to it tablespoon of laundry soap, mix. Means is ready, it can be used for spraying of cabbage.
Tobacco infusion. Take 100 g of tobacco, fill in it with five liters of boiled water, let's structure cool down completely then filter and add a little liquid soap (grams 50), mix.
Acetic solution. Has well proved acetic solution, he prepares very simply: in 5 l of water the glass of 9 percent vinegar is dissolved. The structure is ready for processing of cultures.
Infusion of tops of vegetable and garlic. This means perfectly copes with such driver as black midge, but for some reason it is not really widespread among gardeners. Medicine rather simply is prepared: the glass of garlic and liter of tomato tops of vegetable are crushed, filled in with five liters of water of room temperature, mix infuses within a day in the warm place, and after time is filtered through gauze. Ready means can be used for processing both cabbage, and many other plants on the site.
National methods, of course, are not so effective as industrial chemical, however if processing to spend each two-three days for few weeks, and every time having involved new infusion, then wreckers will recede, and you after all will manage to keep harvest.
