In spite of the fact that agriculture and truck farming are quite similar among themselves - both of them are connected with cultivation and processing of the earth, preparation of the soil and landing of crops – these concepts are various.
Both agriculture, and truck farming are connected with cultivation of the soil and landing of cultures which can be provided by the most different types of plants. However agriculture is more extensive concept, than truck farming. It is the whole science on I cultivate because of the most different types of fertility of trees and plants and was conceptually issued much later truck farming.
Agriculture
Usually agriculture represents the type of activity which is carried out in large industrial scales, supplying food to the markets and serious food productions.
Agriculture by constituent part has selection work, i.e. activities for removal of new grades of sowing material and also improvement of former.
Today without agriculture it is difficult to imagine life of modern society. It includes huge number of the most various industries. Grassland culture, field husbandry, gardening, for example, belong to them. And all of them together, and everyone are separately necessary for delivery to the market of fresh food. Exactly thanks to agriculture there is also process of continuous forming of fertile soils and ripening of important crops.
Truck farming
Truck farming is narrower concept. It represents cultivation of plants for the individual consumption, and there is it in the volumes far from industrial scales. By right it is possible to call gardeners "small farmers", and to refer truck farming to small branch of science of agriculture, it is connected with cultivation of the earth and preparation of the soil for landing of plants too. As a rule, are engaged in truck farming on the protected allotments in several hundred parts on which the most various vegetables and fruit are grown up, both fruit-trees, and bush, and even melon meet here.
Truck farming is close to concept of gardening which is defined as construction of fruit-trees and cultures.
Usually products from garden greenhouses appear in the markets of the country earlier, than vegetables from industrial complexes. The list of plants which are grown up by farmers, however, much more widely it and variety of grain-crops which goes for production of the vital food, and fruit-trees. Such concepts as truck farming and agriculture are identical, but at the same time are extremely various: both of them are the main source of production of food, important for the person, however them it is hardly possible to call scales comparable. At the same time, unlike agriculture which main objective is the sphere of the economic relations, truck farming is source of products for individual consumption, only the small share of which can be resold and come to the public markets anyway.
